My family and I are members of Boynton Beach Community Church. Our church partners with World Vision. Several months ago, my pastor challenged us to read a book titled "The Hole in Our Gospel" by Richard Sterns, President World Vision U.S. He said if we read the book, we would never be the same again. He even went so far to make a copies of the book available at the end of the service. I dutifully picked up my copy, but was reluctant to read it after such a dire prediction. I took the book with me during a recent family vacation to Oregon. Once I started reading, I could not put it down. At the end of the book, Mr. Sterns challenged me to do a "small thing with great love". As for me and my family, we will sponsor our first child through World Vision. I encourage everyone to read this book, but understand also you will not be the same afterward.
